PAINT ONANCOCK Plein Air 2008, held October 1-4 was an enthusiastic
success. We thank the many artists
participating, and many visitors coming
to town to view the finished artwork.
The judging was by
John Brandon Sills. Noted winners
were Jack Richardson, Mary Bickford from
Baltimore, and Willie Crockett.
Honorable mentions went to Daniel
Lawrence, Eileen Weber and Isobel
Troutman. |

Florian Grass
| Florian
Grass, a floral still life painter, comes from a
well-known artist Family in South Germany. He
trained for two years at the Academy of
Kaufbeuren, Germany and studied Realist painting
for two years at the University of Munich. He
exhibits frequently at such places as Salzburg,
Zurich, Nice, Venice, Berlin, as well as Munich,
and his works can be found in various galleries
throughout Germany. |
